Description
Mill House is an early 18th-century mill house that has undergone 19th-century and later alterations. It is possibly timber framed and features a casing of 19th-century gault brick. The house has a steeply pitched slate roof with a central ridge stack that is partly plastered. It stands two storeys high and includes a rear kitchen wing with a gable end stack. To the left of the centre, there is a four-panelled door that is accessed by stone steps. The front has two canted bay windows with flat roofs, and on the first floor, there are two six-paned hung sash windows. Inside, the house displays exposed timber framing and floor frames, along with an open hearth and an iron inspection door leading to the mill.
