Description

The monument to William Spencer is located approximately 8 metres south of the east corner of the south chapel at St George's Church in Benenden. This Grade II listed chest tomb dates from around 1632 and features a rectangular stone design with a moulded cornice, although the base was buried at the time of the survey. The faces of the tomb are roll moulded, and there is an inscription on the north side.
