Description

Church Cottages comprises two cottages, originally built without uniformity. The left-hand section dates from the 18th century and has been altered. It features a ground floor of red brick with some grey headers and a first floor clad in tile hanging, all topped with a hipped tiled roof. There are three 20th-century three-light casement windows. A door is situated beneath a pentice roof. The right-hand section was added by George Devey around 1880. Its ground floor is red brick with grey headers and the first floor consists of one course of tiles and two courses of fishscale tiles. A gable is present, featuring a carved bargeboard, a pendant and a flamboyant brace to the right-hand side. A tiled gabled weather porch also features.
