Description

Eggshell Cottage is a house dating from the late 17th century or early 18th century, with 19th-century cladding. It has a timber frame, with red brick on the ground floor and tile-hanging on the first floor. The roof is plain tiled. The building features a baffle entry plan and stands two storeys high, with a ridge stack positioned to the left of centre. The front has three slightly irregular windows with casements. The entrance is located to the left of centre and is topped with a flat hood arch. At the rear, there is a deep catslide extension.
