Description
Ivy Todd Farmhouse is a house dating from the late 17th century or early 18th century. It has a timber-framed structure that was refronted in 19th century red brick, with roughcast rendered end walls. The roof is tiled, featuring a half-hipped design on the right side and a catslide at the rear. A red brick ridge stack with a string course is present. The building consists of two bays flanking a hall, with an outshut at the rear, and it stands two storeys tall. On the first floor, there are two nine-pane hung sash windows, each set in cambered arches on either side of the doorway. A 18th century hood, which has been reset, is supported by console brackets above the entrance. The door itself is a panelled design from the early 19th century.
