Description

The Cottage is a late 17th-century cottage that was extended in the 19th century. It is timber-framed, plaster rendered, and has a pantiled roof. The building features a late 17th-century axial ridge stack with a string course. It is a single range that has been extended to the west and faces the road. The cottage has one storey and an attic, with two dormers, one of which has 19th-century horizontal sliding sashes. The ground floor includes various windows, also with 19th-century horizontal sliding sashes, and a doorway that is set within a modern porch. At the west end, there is a 19th-century bay made of flint with red brick dressings. The Cottage is included for its group value.
