Description

Old Farm Cottage, also known as Trinity House, is a cottage located on the north-west side of High Street in West Wickham. It has several building periods, with the rear range dating back to around 1600 and later additions made to the front and southwest in the 18th century. The cottage is constructed with timber framing and plaster, topped with long straw thatch and featuring two ridge stacks. The original straight range from around 1600 has an L-plan shape due to the 18th-century additions. It is one storey high with an attic, and there are modern casement windows on either side of the baffle entry doorways. Inside, the cottage retains exposed ceiling beams and some wall framing.
