Description

This is a cottage dating from around 1700. It is timber-framed and has been rendered with plaster, covered by a long-straw thatched roof. A ridge stack sits centrally, with a later stack to the north-east. The cottage is one storey high with an attic space. There are three dormers in the roof: one full dormer and two eyebrow dormers, all of later date. The ground floor now has modern casement windows, including a bay window next to the doorway, which is itself within a modern porch. A further bay window has been added to the north end of the property. Inside, the cottage features stop-chamfered spine beams with run-out stops, along with some inserted beams.
