Description

Eggarton Manor is a house that dates from the 17th century, with cladding added in the 18th century and a 20th-century extension. It features a timber frame that is clad in red brick and tile hanging, topped with a plain tile roof. The building stands two storeys high on a plinth, with the first floor tile-hung on the left side and gables on both the left and right. There is a free-standing offset stack on the left and a ridge stack on the right. Each floor has three windows, with wood casements set in segmental heads on the ground floor. The entrance is a central 20th-century board door located in a gabled porch that has a round arched opening. The gabled bay on the right side is a 1930s addition.
