Description

Bewley Farm is a farmhouse, likely originating as a barn, dating from the 16th century. It has a timber-framed structure with red brick on a rubble stone plinth at ground floor level, and plaster infill in the timber frame above. Two wall posts of the original four-bay structure are visible. The roof is steeply pitched and covered in plain tiles, with a stack on the left end and an off-centre ridge stack to the right. The building is L-shaped, with a rear wing. The two-storey front has an irregular three-window arrangement featuring casement windows. The off-centre right entrance has a boarded door with an upper glass pane.
