Description
Manor Farmhouse is a farmhouse that dates back to the 16th century or earlier, with alterations from the 17th century and a facade from the 19th century. It is timber framed, with the front elevation featuring red brick in Flemish bond. The roof is plain tile and hipped. The building consists of three timber-framed bays, likely originally an open hall of one or two bays, with a storeyed end bay or bays. In the 17th century, it was converted to a lobby entry plan. The farmhouse has two storeys and an off-centre brick ridge stack located to the left. The windows are irregularly arranged, with four casements: two three-light casements with top lights that rise above the wall-plate, and two single-light casements. The ground floor windows have segmental heads. There is a ribbed door located in a 20th-century flat-roofed brick porch beneath the stack, and a rear lean-to is also present. The interior features exposed framing and coupled rafters in the roof, although it has only been partly inspected.
