Description
This is a late 17th-century house constructed of red brick with occasional grey bricks laid in a Flemish bond pattern. It has a plain tile roof. The house stands on a brick plinth and features a plat band also in Flemish bond. A coved plaster eaves cornice runs along the top. A stack once projected from the left gable, but it has been incorporated into a later extension. A more recent stack is located on the right gable, alongside two gabled dormers. The front facade has a regular arrangement of four windows, each a four-light wooden mullioned and transomed casement, two on the left and two on the right. The ground floor windows have segmental heads. The front door consists of six fielded panels with a rectangular fanlight, now sheltered by a 20th-century open Doric porch. A single-story addition of red brick, also in Flemish bond, extends from the left side. This addition has a plain tile roof, a half-hipped left side, a flat-roofed dormer, and a three-light segmental-leaded window. A rear lean-to is also present. The interior has not been inspected.
