Description
Lower Runham Farmhouse is a farmhouse that dates from the 16th century or earlier. It features a timber frame, with the ground floor constructed of 19th century ragstone and brick dressings on the left bay, tile-hung in the center, and red brick in stretcher bond on the right end bay. The first floor is also tile-hung, and the building has a plain tile roof. It stands two storeys high on a stone plinth and has a hipped roof. There are two brick ridge stacks, one located towards the left end and the other towards the right end. The windows exhibit irregular fenestration with five three-light leaded casements. A ribbed door is situated under a lightly bracketed plain-tile canopy beneath the left stack. The interior has not been inspected, and any 20th century rearrangements are not included in this description.
