Description

Rose and Crown Cottage is a 17th-century cottage located on the west side of Sheet Hill in Plaxtol. It features a random rubble stone plinth with exposed timber framing above, which is filled with plaster. The cottage has a steep thatched hipped roof with wide projecting eaves and a rear stack positioned to the right. It is two storeys high and has an irregular front with three windows, which include a mix of 19th-century and 20th-century casements. The entrance to the cottage is located at the rear.
