Description

Bartons Farmhouse is a house with an 18th-century front elevation, built on the foundations of an earlier framed structure. The ground floor is constructed of coursed galletted rubble stone with a red brick string course separating it from the first floor. The first floor itself is painted weather-boarded. The roof is hipped and covered in plain tiles, with two hipped dormers. The front of the house has three windows on each floor. Modern casement windows are present. The central entrance features a half-glazed door with a flat projecting hood.
