Description

Elm Tree Cottage and White Beam is a cottage row that possibly dates back to the 17th century. The building features a red brick ground floor with vertical half-timbering and plaster infilling above. It has a plain tiled roof with two pitches, higher on the right side and half-hipped on the left. There is a ridge stack on the left and an end stack at the right-hand end. The cottage is two storeys tall, with an irregular arrangement of three windows on the left and a more regular arrangement of three windows on the right. To the left, there is a 18th-century panelled door with a flat projecting hood, and to the right, there is a modern door.
