Description
Nos 6 and 7 Church Row are a pair of cottages from the 18th century, forming part of a row of seven that curves along the road. They are built from coursed galletted rubble stone on a brick plinth band, with some red brick detailing on the ground floor. The first floor features painted weatherboarding. The cottages have a plain tiled roof that is hipped to the left. They are two storeys tall, with five windows on the first floor and an irregular arrangement of four windows on the ground floor. Most windows are glazing bar sashes, except for one casement window, which is the second from the left on the first floor. The entrance to No 6 has a panelled door with a 19th-century pedimented, bracketed surround, while the entrance to No 7 is located on the west return side. There are later extensions at the back of the cottages.
