Description

Langleys is a 16th-century farmhouse that has undergone considerable alteration. The ground floor is built of red brick, while the upper floors are timber-framed with plaster infilling, with the rear of the building displaying exposed timber framing. The roof is tiled, with a half-hip to the right and gabled dormers to the left. A jettied first floor extends from the right-hand return front. The house has two storeys and two windows, featuring a mix of old-sized casement windows of irregular design. The main entrance is at the rear. A one-bay, two-storey, hipped-roofed extension was added in 1982 to the left side of the building.
