Description

No. 40 The Stream is a house dating from the late 18th century. It is built of red brick and sits on a red brick plinth. The house features a brick eaves cornice and has a plain tiled hipped roof with a sloped stack located to the right. It has two storeys and a regular four-bay front, with glazing bar sash windows that have gauged flat arched heads and open boxes. The entrance is off-centre to the left and consists of a panelled door with an inset fanlight.
