Description
Monmouth House is a house dating from the late 18th century, constructed of red brick with a slate roof that projects over the moulded eaves. The building features two gable stacks and a single stack at the rear, with brick coped gables and a first floor band. It stands two storeys plus an attic and has three bays. The central entrance is a round arched doorway that includes a panelled door, a fanlight, a plain doorcase, and a bracketed open pediment. On either side of the doorway are single glazing bar sash windows, with three similar sashes above, all featuring flush wedge lintels. The attic has three dormers, each with a single two-light casement window.
