Description
The stable block at Lutton House dates from the early 19th century, with some alterations made in the 20th century. It is constructed of red brick with painted ashlar dressings and features a hipped slate roof. The building has two storeys and consists of five bays.
The central entrance is a round arched doorway with a plank door. Flanking this doorway are two deep-set round arched windows, each fitted with a single glazing bar casement and a blind over panel. On either side of the building, there are carriage archways beneath basket arches; the right archway has plank double doors, while the left is blocked. All ground floor openings are adorned with painted ashlar keystones and impost blocks.
Above the ground floor, there are four segmental arched openings fitted with plank shutters, and to the right, there is a similar opening that contains a two-light casement.
