Description
Lutton House is an early 19th-century house located on the north side of Lutton Lowgate. It is constructed of colourwashed rendered brick and features a hipped slate roof that extends over the moulded and dentillated wooden eaves. The house has two 20th-century lateral stacks and a single stack at the rear. It stands two stories high with a three-bay south front, showcasing three glazing bar sash windows on each floor. The ground floor windows have moulded architraves, while the first floor windows are adorned with ornamental sculled heads.
The west front also has three bays, with the outer bays projecting slightly. The central doorway features a panelled door with an overlight and a panelled reveal. A porch with free-standing rectangular recessed panelled columns and an ornate entablature is present. To the left of the doorway is a single glazing bar sash, with two glazing bar sashes above, the left one having a small hood. The right bay is a single blind bay.
