Description

This coach house, located about 20 meters east of Bolingbroke, dates from around 1700. It features a timber-framed section that is weather boarded and has a plain tiled roof, alongside a red brick section also with a plain tiled roof. The left range is a single storey with a half-hipped roof, containing two double cart doors and a boarded door to the right, which has a semi-circular headed fanlight above and a parapet over it. The right range is also a single storey, built on a plinth with English Bond brickwork and a hipped roof. It includes two metal casement windows and a lozenge-shaped brick recess with a clock, which is a 20th-century addition, located to the left.
