Description

The coach house and attached house, now functioning as a residence, dates from around 1749 and was extended in the late 18th century. It is constructed of squared limestone rubble, featuring ashlar quoins and dressings. The roof is made of Collyweston slate and has raised stone coped gables, with a single ashlar ridge stack.

The building is two stories high with a three-bay front. It has a chamfered plinth and a central half-glazed door set in a semi-circular headed rusticated surround with moulded imposts. This door is flanked by single glazing bar sash windows with plain ashlar lintels. On the first floor, there are three two-light plain casements with timber lintels.

To the left, there is a lower two-story block with a hipped roof, which has four bays. On the right side of this block, there is a planked door with a segmental arched head, and to the left, there are three basket-arched double planked carriage doors. The first floor of this section also features three two-light glazing bar casements with wooden lintels.
