Description

Nos 2 and 2A Eldon Place is part of an early 19th-century terrace. The building has four storeys and a semi-basement, with a stuccoed exterior. It features a parapet with stone coping and two sashes with intact glazing bars. The first floor includes a cast iron balcony with an anthemion motif and a tent-shaped canopy. The ground floor and semi-basement have a curved bow that contains a three-light window. There is a simple round-headed doorcase and a flight of stone steps with iron railings leading to street level, which incorporates a footscraper. Nos 1 to 3 Eldon Place form a group with The Prospect and No 9, The Parade.
