Description

Cliff Edge is part of an early 19th-century terrace located at No. 3 Eldon Place in Broadstairs. The building has four storeys and a semi-basement, with a stuccoed exterior. It features a parapet with stone coping and two sashes with intact glazing bars. The original iron balcony on the first floor has been replaced with a wooden one. The ground floor and semi-basement have a curved bay with a three-light window, and there is a simple round-headed doorcase. A flight of stone steps leads up to the entrance, complete with iron railings that include a footscraper. Nos 1 to 3 form a group with The Prospect and No 9, The Parade.
