Description
Flint House is an early to mid 19th century building located on Habour Street in Broadstairs. It stands three storeys high with a basement and is finished in a colour wash. The hipped slate roof features a moulded eaves cornice. The front façade includes two sash windows, some of which retain their glazing bars, and several lower storey windows have decorated stained glass panes. The lower two storeys are set in a projection. There is a doorcase on the left side, which has a flat wooden weatherhood supported by brackets and a moulded architrave. The entrance features a four-panelled door, with the top two panels cut away and glazed, and is accessed by four stone steps leading to the street. The right side elevation has three sash windows with moulded architraves and a ground floor three-light bay window with panelled risers. The garden elevation showcases two five-light bays across all floors. Flint House is part of a group that includes Nos 13 to 19 (odd).
