Description

This is an early 19th-century building of three storeys and a basement, located on The Parade in Broadstairs. The building has a parapet with a stone coping. The front elevation originally featured three sash windows; the first-floor windows had vertical glazing bars, although the other windows have been replaced in the 20th century. The doorway has a simple, altered doorcase, and a modern door. The left side elevation has four altered windows, and a first-floor three-light bay, topped with a wooden two-tier canopy. The side also has a simple doorcase with a 20th-century door. The Prospect is historically linked as a group with No. 9 and Nos. 1 to 3 (consecutively numbered) Eldon Place.
