Description
This structure is a granary or dovecot located about 15 meters south of a barn in Upper Hale. It dates from the 17th century and is built of red brick in English bond, topped with a corrugated iron roof. The building is one storey high with a loft, featuring a plat band and a corbelled eaves cornice that adorns the hipped roof. There is a blocked doorway with a semi-circular head, above which the corbelled plat band is raised, and it includes a sidelight. To the left, there is a loft door accessed by a flight of wooden steps.
