The right side, Elder Cottage, is a 15th-century, two-storey timber-framed cottage featuring a tiled hipped roof with two hipped dormers that have casement windows. The ground floor has close-studded timber framing and includes a later pedimented porch. The left side, Old Bay Cottage, is two storeys high and faced with 18th-century red brick.
