Description
This granary and dovecote, located approximately 20 meters north of Manor Farmhouse, dates from the mid-18th century. It is constructed of Flemish bond brick with flared headers, and there has been some rebuilding on the right wall in the mid-19th century. The building features an old tile roof and stands two storeys tall. A timber lintel supports the doorway, which has an overlight above it. The front gable displays square nesting boxes with projecting tile perches. Inside, there are plain beams and joists, and the ground floor granary was originally elevated above the floor on a projecting brick plinth. The roof is a 2-bay collar-truss design with butt-purlins. This structure is included for its group value.
