Description

This is a 17th-century barn located 20 yards east of the Batteries on Claxfield Road in Lynsted. It features a timber frame clad with weatherboard and has a thatched hipped roof, along with a tiled hipped mid-stray. Inside, the barn consists of three bays with aisles that return at the east end. There are passing shores to the arcade posts and a queen strut roof supported by wind braces.
