Description

These are two barns located 30 yards west of Lynsted Court, dating from the 17th century. They are timber framed, standing on flint and brick plinths, and are clad with weatherboard and corrugated iron. The barns have hipped roofs and a gabled mid-stray, forming an 'L' shape. The interior of the left-hand barn, which is to the south, features five bays with aisles and a Queen post roof. This barn has been extensively repaired, with many timbers doubled or replaced. The interior of the right-hand barn has not been inspected.
