Description

This is a King George VI K6 telephone kiosk, dating from around 1936, located outside the post office in Lynsted. It is made of cast iron and features glazed panels with marginal glazing bars on three sides. The kiosk is equipped with leather and metal pintle hinges. It has a domed top with the word "telephone" displayed on panels on all four sides, along with the Crown of George VI.
