Description
Two barns, located approximately 15 meters northeast of number 41, date from the late 17th century and have undergone some later alterations. They feature a stone rubble plinth with some 20th-century patching, large timber framing, and weatherboarding, topped with a corrugated iron sheet roof that is hall-hipped to the right on one barn and half-hipped to the left on the other. Each barn has three bays. The first barn has a centrally located doorway, which is missing its doors and has an opposing blocked doorway. Inside, it has a queen-post roof with some replacement common rafters. The attached barn also has a stone rubble plinth with 20th-century patching, large timber framing, and a similar roof. It has a rear central doorway (also missing its doors) and an opposing doorway. The interior features a queen-post roof with some replacement common rafters as well.
