Description

Tythe Barn Cottage is a house dating to the 17th century, with later alterations. It is constructed of uncoursed rubble stone, with a red brick upper section. The roof is covered with old plain tiles, and there are brick end stacks. The property is a single storey with an attic, and has a 3-window front. A 6-panel door is located on the right side, sheltered by a 20th-century lean-to hood. Two 3-light wood mullion and transom windows with segmental brick heads are found on the ground floor to the left and centre. Raking half-dormers contain horizontal sliding sash windows. The interior has not been inspected.
