Description

No 46 on Bell Road is a lodge to the municipal cemetery, built around 1860. The building is 1½ storeys high and constructed from ashlar blocks. It features a tiled roof with some sections of fishscale tiles. The front elevation has two windows; the first floor includes a double pointed window in the right side gable and a hipped dormer with one pointed window. On the ground floor, there is a bay window on the right side and a double sash window set in a stone cambered architrave on the left side. The left side elevation has a double window on the first floor and a ground floor bay. Nos 46 to 50 (even) and the wall to the cemetery, along with the Cemetery Chapel, form a group.
