Description
The lodge at the cemetery on West Kilbride Road in Dalry dates from the later 19th century. It is a single-storey building with three bays, constructed from painted stugged ashlar with margins. The central entrance features a door with a fanlight and a hoodmould above it. There are eight-pane sash windows, each also adorned with hoodmoulds. The building is topped with a cornice and a crenellated parapet, and it has chamfered skews with corniced end stacks. The roof is covered with slate.
Surrounding the cemetery, the walls include original ornamental gatepiers topped with urns, along with decorative cast-iron railings.
