Description
The building is a lodge for a cemetery, constructed in the 19th century. It features rock-faced random rubble with ashlar dressings and has a slate roof adorned with terracotta cresting and finials. The lodge is two storeys high and has an L-shaped plan, with a gabled porch located at the angle of the left-hand wing. The porch has a shallow segmentally arched doorway and pierced bargeboards on its gable. Each floor of the left wing includes a three-light wood mullioned and transomed window, which has small upper panes, and is topped with a half-hipped roof. Similar windows can also be found in the north-facing gable and at the rear of the building. The lodge has axial and end wall stacks.
