Description

Nos 48 and 50 on Bell Road are a mid-19th century pair of houses. They are three storeys tall with a basement and are primarily constructed of stock brick, although the left side of No 50 is cemented. The houses have a hipped slate roof and each features two sash windows. There is a string course between the second and third floors, and the ground floor has three 3-light bays. The first-floor sash windows are framed with moulded architraves. The doorcases are set in porticos on the side elevation. These buildings, along with Nos 46 to 50, and the wall to the cemetery and cemetery chapel, form a cohesive group.
