Description

The wall to the cemetery on Bell Road in Sittingbourne dates from around 1860. It stands about 3 feet high and is constructed of ashlar blocks. The top features a stone coping with a row of bricks set edgeways just beneath it. There are square stone piers and three stone gatepiers topped with conical caps. This wall, along with Nos 46 to 50 (even) and the cemetery chapel, forms a group of historically significant structures.
