Description

79 and 81 High Street is an early 19th-century building that stands three storeys tall and is constructed of red brick. It features a slate roof with an eaves cornice. Above the ground floor, there are five sash windows, most of which retain their glazing bars. The entrance porch is notable for its two fluted Doric columns and two pilasters, along with a rectangular fanlight and double doors made up of six moulded panels. Number 79 has a modern shop front to the east of the doorway. This building is part of a group that includes Nos 23 to 45 (odd) and 49 to 81 (odd).
