Description

Thatched Cottage is a house dating from the 16th century, with a 20th-century extension. It is timber framed and rendered, featuring a red brick end wall on the right and a thatched roof. The building has two storeys and an attic, with a projecting end stack on the right and an eyebrow dormer. The windows are an irregular arrangement of 20th-century wood casements. There is a plank and stud door located in a catslide outshot to the left. The rear elevation shows an exposed large panel frame with tension braces and plaster infilling. To the left, there is a 20th-century extension made of red brick with a plain tiled roof, which is of no special interest.
