Description

This barn, located about 30 metres south of Gosmere Farmhouse, dates from the 16th and 18th centuries. It has a timber frame set on a red brick base and is weatherboarded with an asbestos roof. The barn features a hipped roof with a mid-strey to the left and a double door to the right. Inside, there are 8 bays with aisles, and the arcade posts are supported by quadrant braces. The roof is a clasped purlin design. Notably, the western three bays are older than the remaining five bays.
