Description

This barn, located about 60 metres east of Old Court Farmhouse, dates from the 16th and 18th centuries. It is constructed with a timber frame and is weather boarded, topped with a corrugated asbestos roof. The north end features a base made of red brick and flint. The barn has a half-hipped roof with two raking streys. Inside, there are eight bays with aisles and a clasped purlin roof. The end bays to the north show partial survival of passing shores, indicating the barn's earlier origins.
