Description

Gate Lodge, built around 1835, is a gatehouse associated with the Goodnestone Estate. The structure is made of red brick and features a plain tiled roof. It stands two storeys high on a plinth and is adorned with a dogtooth cornice at the roofline, which has kneelered parapet gables and a stack on the right end. To the right, there is a projecting gabled wing. The lodge has two sets of two-light Dering windows on each floor and a boarded door located in the center within a recessed round-headed porch.
