Description

Vicarage Cottage is a house dated 1711, located on the east side of The Street in Goodnestone. It is constructed of red brick with a rendered right return and features a plain tiled roof. The building has two storeys set on a plinth, with a plat band and a dogtooth cornice beneath the hipped roof, which has a central stack. On the first floor, there are three wooden casements, while the ground floor has two wooden casements and a central boarded door topped with a gabled hood supported by brackets. Above the door, there is a heart-shaped date stone inscribed with "1711 I E I."
