Description
Well House is a house dating from the 16th century, with cladding added in the 18th century. It features a timber frame covered with painted brick and has a plain tiled roof. The building is a four-bay hall house, one storey and an attic, with a hipped roof. It has a large central 20th-century gabled dormer and a smaller gabled dormer to the right. There are stacks on the left and at the right end. The ground floor has three wooden casement windows and a plank and ribbed door on the left. Inside, the frame is visible, and it has a crown post roof with smoke-blackened timbers. There is an inglenook with a bread oven, a moulded plank and muntin door, a newel staircase, and a cellar.
