Description
Owen's Court is a house that dates from around 1800, with a 17th-century timber-framed wing. The front range is made of painted brick and has a slated roof, while the rear range is weatherboarded on painted brick in English bond, topped with a plain tiled roof. The building is two storeys high with a basement and features a paired modillion eaves cornice beneath a hipped roof, which has stacks on the left, right, and at the rear center.
The windows are regularly arranged, with three glazing bar sashes on the first floor and two on the ground floor, all featuring gauged heads. The central door has six raised and fielded panels, topped by a traceried semi-circular fanlight and an open pediment supported by attached Doric columns. There is a flight of three steps leading up to the door. An opening for the basement is located on the right side of the building. At the rear, there is a two-storey wing with a hipped roof, sitting on a two-stage brick plinth, and it has wooden casements that are placed irregularly.
