Description

The House of Seal Boutique is a 16th century timber-framed house that stands two storeys high and features three windows, along with two smaller lights that have been added. It has a high-pitched tiled roof with a ridge stack on the right side. The first floor showcases exposed close-set timbers filled with plaster. The ends of the joists are visible, and the former jettied front has been brought forward on the ground floor, which has been rebuilt using a mix of brick and stone set in mortar. The old plinth is made of random rubble. On the first floor, there are small modern casement windows, while the ground floor has large, square-paned modern shop windows. The door features glazed panels with pointed Gothic heads.
